HL7 Interface, a software package comprising of data consuming components, data generating components and Prolis Bridge, used by Prolis to communicate bidirectionally with EMRs and other Laboratory softwares at the reference laboratories. In the context of the communication with an EMR, Prolis data generating component functions to format test results of patient test orders and the Prolis data consuming component functions to consume test orders submitted by the laboratory client's EMRs. n the context of the communication with a laboratory software, Prolis data generating component functions to format patient test orders being outsourced and the Prolis data consuming component functions to consume test results submitted by the reference laboratory. Prolis Bridge is used to transmit the data generated by Prolis data generating component and receive the data generated by either EMR or the LIS at the reference laboratory. |
